Week 28 - Custom charts, carbon footprint calculator and more
This week's five new Figma plugins.
Have you ever considered the environmental impact of a design? Or even how designing one way might emit less CO2 than another? In this issue, there’s a new Figma plugin that calculates just that!
There’s also a new plugin to help you design for accessibility, an off-the-charts graph maker and a couple more in the mix. Keep reading; you might just need one of these 👇
1. i Chart
The only chart plugin that supports variables and custom style.
i Chart is currently the only Figma plugin that generates charts with your own custom style and with support for variables. You can generate up to 12 different types of charts, customize almost everything and even fetch data from existing charts when you want to adjust the style but don't want to change its data. Upload your own data in xslx format and save it for recurring use.

2. Figsu
Calculate the environmental impact of your designs.
We love how plugins can also be informative and not just functional! Figsu is a new Figma plugin that calculates the CO2 emissions of your design. Select any frame on your canvas and click calculate. It will show page weight, the approximate CO2 emissions per visit if you use green hosting and the emissions without green hosting. What we’re missing? Tips from the plugin on how to reduce the climate impact of our designs.

3. Form Components Builder
Generate form components in a click.
Form Components Builder is a simple plugin that generates five basic components needed to build forms: button, input, dropdown, checkbox and radio button. Adjust the settings to choose your preferred layout, fonts and colors then click ‘Generate’. The plugin automatically creates components and all their variants, so you can quickly start designing forms.

4. Icon Resizer
Generate icon sets in seconds.
Icon Resizer takes any icon and resizes it to create variants for a complete icon set. You can quickly add or remove icon dimensions, generate both individual icons and a grid of variants, set stroke thickness to frame the size of the icon if it uses outlines and quickly rename icon components using variables. Plus, you have a root icon component that allows you to make changes in a single place to edit the entire set automatically.

5. WCAG Plugin
Accessibility guidelines and reminder cards.
An informative Figma plugin that helps to design for accessibility, WCAG Plugin is a library with all the official Web Content Accessibility Guidelines so you can search directly in Figma for any particular rule you’re unsure of. You can also annotate your designs by dropping in one of the plugin’s notation cards, keeping the guidelines directly next to your designs.
